Job Description
• $25–$60 per hour equivalent, paid per accepted task
• 100% remote
• Part-time
• Fully flexible schedule
Build and playtest compact games and playable scenes that test how AI systems analyze, debug, and build games.
AI companies need game developers to test AI systems on real game-development work. The project involves building compact game prototypes and playable scenes, adding realistic gameplay bugs and multi-system feature problems, and describing each request as a player, designer, or producer would. You will supply expected fixes, set pass criteria with input sequences and observable results, and run every task end to end to check that it is playable and solvable. This is that work, done remotely around your schedule.
What you'll do
• Build compact game projects or playable scenes using Unity, Godot, or Unreal
• Introduce gameplay bugs and features that span several systems, then run each task end to end
• Write briefs from a player, designer, or producer perspective, and provide the expected fixes and feature work
• Set pass criteria using input sequences, expected visuals, and game states you can verify
Why this is worth your time
• Earn $25–$60 an hour equivalent, paid per accepted task
• Use your game development skills on small projects, interactive scenes, bugs, and feature implementations
• Use hands-on playtesting to check that game tasks behave consistently and can be completed
• Fully remote and flexible, no fixed shifts, no commute
Who this is for
• Have AAA, indie, solo, or serious hobby game-development experience and publicly share a portfolio, published project, game jam entry, or shipped title
• Use Unity, Godot, or Unreal at an advanced level, including debugging utilities, scene management, and editor tools
• Fluent in English
• No experience in AI training work needed.
Pay and details
• $25–$60 per hour equivalent; pay is per accepted task, as an independent contractor
• Part-time, flexible schedule; fully remote, United States
