Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced AI SecOps & Detection Lead to build and operate the organization’s AI security lifecycle across discovery, detection, incident response, prevention, and governance.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with enterprise Security Operations (SecOps), SIEM/SOAR, detection engineering, incident response, cloud/on-prem asset discovery, and AI security threats.
This role will integrate AI-specific security findings from platforms such as Wiz and AIM into existing SOC workflows, establish Shadow AI discovery, develop AI-focused incident response playbooks, and translate security findings into preventative controls and remediation actions.
Key Responsibilities
Integrate AI-specific alerts and findings from Wiz, AIM, and other security tools into existing SOC/SIEM/SOAR workflows.
Build and operationalize Shadow AI discovery using telemetry-driven approaches across cloud and on-prem environments.
Develop and maintain AI-specific incident response playbooks and lead tabletop exercises.
Identify AI-related security risks and translate findings into actionable detection and remediation strategies.
Develop detection logic for AI-specific threats, including:
Prompt injection
Model poisoning
Agent credential abuse
Data exfiltration
Unauthorized AI usage
Partner with SOC, engineering, compliance, and security leadership teams to strengthen AI security controls.
Maintain an accurate AI tool/workload inventory, risk assessments, and supporting documentation.
Measure detection effectiveness, identify coverage gaps, and track security risk trends.
Continuously feed incident and discovery findings back into prevention and security improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience
Strong hands-on experience in Enterprise Security Operations (SecOps).
Deep experience with SIEM/SOAR platforms, detection engineering, alert triage, and incident response.
Proven experience building asset discovery and telemetry-driven visibility programs.
Experience identifying and monitoring AI tools, workloads, integrations, and shadow AI across hybrid environments.
Strong understanding of AI/ML security threats and attack vectors.
Experience integrating specialized security findings into unified SOC workflows.
Ability to develop detection strategies and measure detection coverage and effectiveness.
Experience with security risk assessment, remediation tracking, and operational governance.
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
